Manu was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and has lived in New York City for 25
years. The youngest of six, he spent much of his childhood being creative and exploring the magical world around him. He was always mesmerized by printed images and fell in love with
photography after receiving his first subscription to National Geographic from his father.
Manu is adept at telling the story of his subjects and capturing their vulnerabilities. He finds
beauty in these connections and has been commissioned to shoot portraits of CEOs, fashion
& interior designers, movers & shakers and artists in their homes and workspaces. His passion for photography and motion also includes shooting interiors, still life & product as well as food for many clients and brands in the home and fashion industries.
With 15 years working as a professional photographer, art and video director as well as producer for publishing giants, corporate clients and small businesses, Manu has built a thriving business with a collaborative environment on every project working alongside his team of top professionals.
Having just completed his first book, UNTITLED, which celebrates the diversity in the LGBTQIA+
community and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, he extends his thanks to his chosen
family that has helped bring him to where he is today.
